Oct 6, 2017 · When I got in the truck the CEL was on and the message on the dash was as stated by others. The local dodge dealer looked at it and said the remote start was disabled due to a fuel tank pressure sensor, evaporative system integrity module, and an o-ring. The works under warranty so we shall see if it works. The remote start never gave me trouble in the past but recently it has not been nice. From past 10 days, when I start the car with the remote start in the morning, it doesn't start, the horn honk one time, and the EVIC gives me the message "remote start disabled - start vehicle to reset". My 15 SXT has the remote start button on both fobs, based on the windows sticker; it looks like remote start was standard on the SXT, unsure if it was standard on the SE. My truck started failing to remote start on a regular basis. Along with only the single beep of the horn I would get this message in the EVIC display: "Remote start has been disabled.
